Templeton
Templeton is a pleasant rural community located midway between Atascadero and Paso Robles. It was founded in 1886. The town has continued to retain much of its historical character with many of the old buildings being restored and the new buildings being built with an eye to the past. It hosts the area's only hospital and major medical complexes. Surrounded by rich agricultural land, the 5,100 citizens enjoy the healthy lifestyle of a rural area including parks, distinguished public schools, quality restaurants, and numerous wineries.
