Casa de Caballos, “Stable of Fine Wines”

Casa de Caballos’ first commercial realease was the 1995 Fantasy White Riesling, a varietal that thrives on the 1,280 foot Templeton hillsides, just twelve miles from the coast. Templeton experiences temperatures slightly cooler then the rest of the Paso Robles area, and possesses a chalky, clay soil to hold water. The Vineyard has a slightly longer growing season that produces an excellent Pinot Noir!

This property also has a very nice horse breeding facility with several stalls, pastures, and a sanded arena with a viewing platform. The main barn features 12”x16” stalls with feeder doors, two 14”x20” foaling stalls, custom tack shed with saddle racks, and wash rack fed by its own hot water heater. There are two additional barns on the property, with multiple paddocks and pastures. Casa de Caballos is not only an award winning winery, but an active Arabian breeding facility as well!

There are three homes located on the Casa de Caballos property. The main residence was built in 1962, and is built for entertaining!
